Honeymoon in Turkey

One of the greatest journeys to take in life is the one that starts with marriage. To take those first steps together as husband and wife should also include a honeymoon that would symbolize that journey by embarking on a fabulous journey. Instead of going with a traditional or cliché location, a honeymoon in Turkey would be an exceptional alternative. It would be a little bit off the beaten path, but with the number of things to do, places to see and experiences to be enjoyed, it should be an idea worth considering.

So just why would a honeymoon in Turkey be right for a newlywed couple? There are plenty of reasons. One of the first considerations would be the cost of the trip. Turkey is just starting to become a destination of choice for tourists, so the cost of visiting is cheaper than some more visible or popular spots. Not only is the cost of the trip lower, so is the cost of living in Turkey; so while on a honeymoon in Turkey, the newlywed couple can enjoy not only accommodations for less, all the food and drink will be cheaper to purchase from local markets. And the food will help to make the trip unforgettable. Fresh foods and diverse menus at local restaurants will provide many delectable delights.

The cost of the trip should not be the main consideration however. Sure to impress is a hot summer day on a beautiful beach surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The cool breeze off the ocean will make the time with your new mate a perfect start to your new life together. Your honeymoon in Turkey will not be just relaxing on the beach. There are plenty of activities to keep even the most active couple satisfied. Take a drive along the coastline and enjoy the stunning ocean view or try a white water rafting trip, or enjoy a boat cruise along the coast. Along with sightseeing, there is great shopping and at the end of the day there is an active nightlife to keep the fun going into the night. There are discos, live music venues and cocktail bars to help unwind at the end of the night.
